The General Manager, EV Sales & Charging Infrastructure, will lead the strategic development, implementation, and growth of the company’s <\/span>Electric Vehicle (EV) business and charging network operations<\/span><\/b>. This role is responsible for driving EV sales performance, expanding charging infrastructure across key locations, managing partnerships, and ensuring the company remains a market leader in Nigeria’s evolving e -mobility ecosystem.<\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>

1.<\/b> Strategy and Business Development<\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive <\/span>EV sale and charging infrastructure strategy<\/span><\/b> aligned with the company’s long -term vision for sustainable mobility.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Identify business opportunities, partnerships, and government collaborations to expand EV adoption and charging networks.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen the company’s position as a leader in the EV market.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    2. <\/b>Sales and Market Growth<\/b><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/p>

    • Lead nationwide EV sales operations, achieving revenue and market share targets.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and dealer network support for EV products.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      3. <\/b>Charging Infrastructure Management<\/b><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/p>

      • Plan, design, and oversee the rollout of <\/span>EV charging stations<\/span><\/b> in strategic urban and intercity locations.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Collaborate with technical, engineering, and facility teams to ensure efficiency, safety, and reliability of charging infrastructure.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Establish partnerships with public and private stakeholders for shared charging access and expansion.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        4. <\/b>Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement<\/b><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/p>

        • Engage with government agencies, regulators, and power distribution companies to align with national EV policies and incentives.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Build relationships with real estate developers, fleet operators, and logistics companies for network expansion.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Represent the company in industry forums and sustainability events.<\/span><\/span>

          5. <\/b>Team Leadership and Performance Management<\/b><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/p>

          • Lead and mentor a cross -functional team across EV sales, infrastructure operations, and customer support.<\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure continuous capability development.<\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the EV division.<\/span><\/span>

            6. <\/b>Financial and Operational Oversight<\/b><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/p>

            • Develop and manage annual budgets for EV sales and charging operations.<\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/li>
            • Track financial performance and ensure profitability of EV business lines.<\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/li>
            • Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety, environmental, and technical standards.<\/span><\/span>

              Requirements<\/h3>
              • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.<\/span><\/span>
                <\/span><\/li>
              • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the automobile, energy, or mobility sector, with at least 5 years in senior management.<\/span><\/span>
                <\/span><\/li>
              • Proven track record in EV sales, infrastructure development, or sustainable mobility projects.<\/span><\/span>
                <\/span><\/li>
              • Strong understanding of EV technologies, power systems, and mobility solutions.<\/span><\/span>
                <\/span><\/li>
              • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.<\/span><\/span>
