Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Determines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation, and determines project specifications such as cost, time, and sample requirements by analyzing client input, available supplemental data, and product construction.
- Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites. Initiates communication with clients to promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services.
- Follows up on contacts from clients.
- Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures and requirements, convey project cost, and negotiate completion date and sample requirements.
- Acts to address client concerns and to resolve client issues.
- Provides technical assistance to clients in reference to product inspection and follow-up services.
- Establishes appropriate test programs by reviewing files and manufacturer's information, examining samples, and applying UL requirements.
- Is familiar with applicable standards, company manuals and appropriate technical literature.
- Examines samples for compliance with UL requirements and notifies client of any areas in which the product is not in compliance or of any changes in project scope or specifications.
- Coordinates laboratory activities by preparing data sheets and instructions to technicians, scheduling and reviewing work of laboratory technicians and engineering support staff and establishing completion dates.
- Coordinates administrative aspects of project management.
- Serves as Project Handler of record and may sign as Reviewer of record as assigned.
- Communicates project status and results to clients through frequent contact and by preparing reports.
- Prepares Follow-Up Service Procedures and information pages.
- Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
- Resolves engineering issues associated with Variation Notices by analyzing and reporting on the acceptability of the variations.
- Assists in the development of UL requirements.
- Assists in developing special test methods and test equipment.
- Analyzes test program for adequacy and sequence.
- May coordinate and/or perform File Reviews, as directed.
- May represent UL at industry related functions such as seminars and trade shows.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as directed.

- 필요 시 고객사 현장에서 시험을 수행하거나 참관하기 위한 출장 가능
- 신규·기존 서비스의 장점 및 절차를 고객에게 설명하고 기술적 문의 대응
- 고객 문의 후속 대응 및 문제 해결을 위한 적극적 커뮤니케이션
- 제품 검사·Follow-up 서비스에 대한 기술 지원 제공
- UL 요구사항과 표준에 기반한 시험 프로그램 수립 및 샘플 검토
- 시험 결과 분석, 비준수 항목 통보, 프로젝트 스코프 변경사항 고객 안내
- 실험실 기술자 및 엔지니어링 지원 인력과의 협업을 통한 시험 일정 조율
- 프로젝트 관리의 행정적 업무 수행 및 Project Handler로서 문서 검토/서명
- 프로젝트 상태 및 결과 보고서 작성 및 고객 전달
- Follow-Up Service 절차서 및 정보 페이지 작성
- Variation Notice 관련 엔지니어링 이슈 분석 및 해결
- UL 요구사항 개발 및 특수 시험 방법·장비 개발 지원
- 파일 리뷰(File Review) 수행 및 필요 시 산업 행사/전시회에서 UL 대표 활동
- UL 행동강령 및 보안정책 준수
- 기타 지시된 업무 수행
Responsibilities
Ability to work fully on-site in Pyeongtaek and engage directly with clients and team members.
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to lead discussions regarding technical matters, project progress, and issue resolution.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations independently.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail in technical documentation, testing processes, and compliance assessments.
Experience in engineering, testing, certification, or laboratory coordination is preferred.
Proactive approach to project ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program plus two years directly related experience.
- Detailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory testing apparatus and techniques common to the appropriate discipline.
