· Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
· At least 15 years’ experience in the automotive industry and/or plastics industry in a comparable role.
· Working experience in Auto OEM or 1-Tier and EV battery industry and thermoplastic composite is a plus
· Excellent strategic understanding and solid track record on business development.
· Excellent project management skills
· Excellent networking skills
· Good understanding of the financials, especially P&L, cash flow, and business/investment cases
· Good communication and presentation skills. Structured thinker, ability to take decisions and solve problems
· Strong technical knowledge of thermoplastics (PMMA, PC/ABS, composite) and their processing in automotive applications, including injection molding, compression molding, part design, and tool validation.
· Excellent knowledge about EV battery industry
· Fluent language skills in English.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse international team.
· Customer-facing application development expertise, with demonstrated ability to support molding trials, technical seminars, and translate customer needs into material solutions.
· Good business development and negotiation skills. Commercial acumen and opportunity management skills, including experience building and managing a technical pipeline and contributing to account growth strategies.
· Ability to interface effectively across functions (R&D, Product Management, Sales, Regulatory) to align internal priorities with external application requirements.
· Knowledge of Chinese and some global OEM vehicle platforms and technology roadmaps, with the ability to anticipate future application needs and sustainability drivers.
