VEA Civils, a division of VEA Group Limited, is expanding its EV Infrastructure Division and is seeking experienced Civil Engineering and EV Charger Installation Teams to support the delivery of electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects across the UK.
We are looking for skilled and reliable teams with experience in civils delivery, charger installation, ducting, trenching, foundations, reinstatement, and associated infrastructure works.
Project Scope
Works include:
- EV Charger Base Construction
- EV Charger Installation & Mounting
- Ducting Installation
- Cable Route Excavations
- Trenching and Excavation Works
- Concrete Foundations and Plinths
- Feeder Pillar Bases
- Service Trenches
- Car Park Infrastructure Works
- Kerbing and Surface Works
- Reinstatement Works
- Associated Civil Engineering Activities
Essential Requirements
Applicants should have relevant experience within Civil Engineering, Utilities, EV Infrastructure, Highway Works, or Associated Infrastructure Projects.
The following certifications and training are required or highly desirable:
- EUSR SHEA Power
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Manual Handling
- Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) Awareness
- NRSWA Street Works Qualification
- Relevant Plant Operator Tickets (CPCS, NPORS or equivalent where applicable)
- Winch Training (where required for role)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Demonstrable CV / Work History showing relevant experience and capabilities
- Copies of relevant training certificates and competency records
Additional Qualifications & Accreditations
The following would be advantageous:
- DNO / IDNO Authorisations
- Street Works Supervisor Qualification
- CAT & Genny Training
- Utility Avoidance Training
- Experience working on EV Charging Infrastructure Projects
- Experience working within live highways, utilities, commercial or retail environments
