SALES REPRENTATIVE - EV CHARGING (GSE & MHE, ETC.)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Salesperson Representative at Minit Charger you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our GSE and MHE relationships and unlimited potential for charger sales. Requires strong sales skills (80% of your time) with some technical comprehension (20% of your time). You will be responsible for developing new relationships and maintaining new relationships, understanding their unique charging needs, and delivering tailored solutions, where applicable.
This is a base + commission position and offers a potential of well over $125K per year.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Identify and engage with target industries, distributors, and potential customers in the GSE and MHE charging markets, including airports, airlines, GSE handlers, distribution centers and manufacturing plants.
- Visit clients and potential clients to perform site visits, record notes and take photographs to evaluate needs, and promote company offerings.
- Understand and promote company offerings, pitch sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the advantages of our EV charging solutions.
- Navigate potential clients through technical and commercial requirements, how to select a charger to meet their specific applications and offer the best solutions with minimal investment.
- Collaborate with clients to design and propose customized charging solutions that meet their needs, including charger installation, maintenance, and support services.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities through the sales process.
- Maintain client records in CRM.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their specific charging requirements and providing exceptional customer service.
- Manage the entire sales process from origination to closing contracts. Including all required regulatory paperwork, sales proposals and fully executed contracts.
- Develop engaging materials for trade publications, social media, product/industry specific campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5+ years sales experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Technology-minded
- Must be comfortable with cold calling potential clients
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proven sales ability in related field
- Good organization skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated, strong execution capability
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
