The Loaded and Open World sales team is in pursuit of a dynamic Sr. Director of Game Developer Sales with focus on mobile gaming. The ideal candidate is strategic, creative, resilient, collaborative, coachable, and loves the art of selling. They should have experience carrying their own book of business, be very versed in all things gaming and game publishers, and be ready to work with internal and external partners to sell and execute strategic campaigns. They should have deep experience providing marketing solutions for game developers and publishers and a proven ability to generate leads and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

The Sr. Director of Game Dev Sales, reporting to SVP of Game Dev Sales, will be responsible for growing the company’s commercial book of business from game developers and their agencies with the focus on but not limited to mobile publishers.

On any given day you might…

  • Source and solicit business new business with mobile game developers and publishers
  • Communicate with potential clients, identify their needs/KPIs, and design a strategy to create partnerships that meet their needs
  • Work closely with cross-departmental, internal stakeholders to:
    • Help develop new creative, product, and measurement solutions for game developer partners 
    • Support ideation, development, and presentation of forward-thinking products and sponsorship solutions for game developers/publishers
    • Help craft the overall strategy to deliver on revenue targets and expand the company’s business development in mobile gaming
  • Work to proactively maintain and grow our existing relationships to drive additional contracted sales, extensions, and renewals
  • Actively contribute to the overarching sales strategy and be an ambassador for your  needs and opportunities internally
  • Represent our companies at relevant industry events, evangelizing our product and service offerings and growing our network and reach

To qualify, you have...

  • Deep knowledge of the game developer/publisher industry and experience working with or at game developer/publisher(s), especially in the mobile gaming space 
  • 6+ years of influencer marketing, brand advertising, branded content and sponsorship sales 
  • A rolodex and network of strong relevant partners that can grow into significant and revenue impacting business relationships
  • A strong command of the sales process, ability to open new doors and a proven ability to close new business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking, project, and time management skills
  • A demonstrated track record of building and scaling a book of business 
  • A consultative, strategic and solutions-oriented approach to sales
  • A positive disposition and deep love for the art of selling
  • Experience working across internal and external parties and leading internal processes to sell and execute integrated content campaigns
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working in sales CRMs, including Salesforce

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 (plus commission)
