As electric and hybrid cars become increasingly prevalent, so does the need for innovating charging points. Dutch companies play a key role in this transition, and DEKRA is their trusted partner for testing and certifying charging stations. We are on the lookout for passionate team members to join our dynamic Charging Stations team.
These charging stations, equipped with advanced electronics and increasingly DC-powered, must adhere to various international standards and national requirements. If you find this challenging, you’re the one we’re looking for!
As a Test Engineer, you’ll be the pioneer evaluating the latest innovations daily according to the highest standards. Within Consumer Safety, you’re part of a dynamic team of experts, thriving in an inspiring work environment with international clients and diverse products.
Responsibilities
Independently conduct tests, spending about 60% of your time in the lab;
Evaluate according to international standards and specific client specifications;
Verify documentation compliance with project requirements;
Prepare crucial reports for (preliminary) test results;
Regularly liaise with costumers and project managers to ensure progress and anticipate potential challenges;
Embrace variety – work on multiple projects simultaneously in the DEKRA lab.
Your profile
Bring sufficient knowledge, education and experience to successfully fulfill this role. Additionally:
Hold a bachelor’s degree in electronics or electrical engineering or equivalent;
Have experience in measuring electrical equipment;
Demonstrate strong language skills in English. Knowledge of the German language is considered a plus;
Familiarity with international standards, such as IEC 61851, this gives you an edge.
