This is a permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the electric vehicle (EV) revolution—helping clients discover, purchase, and rent cutting-edge sustainable transport solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Sales & Rentals:

  • Main focus area will be on the electric vehicle segment, client site establishment, needs analysis, route planning and electricity needs calculations.
  • Identifying new EV clients as well as managing current EV client relationships.
  • Secondly promote and sell yellow heavy-duty machinery and related services to potential clients.
  • Manage the rental fleet, including overseeing the rental agreements, pricing, and contracts.
  • Provide customers with appropriate machinery solutions based on their specific needs and job site requirements.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact, follow-ups, and site visits.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide technical assistance and product support.
  • Handle customer inquiries, negotiate contracts, and close sales or rental agreements.

Market Research & Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and competition within the heavy-duty machinery market.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to reach or exceed sales and rental targets.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.

Administrative Duties:

  • Prepare and present sales proposals, reports, and pricing estimates.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activity, customer information, and market feedback using CRM software.
  • Monitor the rental fleet to ensure equipment availability, quality, and timely returns.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with product developments, specifications, and industry trends.
  • Educate clients on the features, benefits, and applications of the machinery available for sale or rental.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and ensure clients understand proper machine usage and safety protocols.
  • Ad-hoc requests.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in electric vehicle knowledge, heavy-duty machinery, construction equipment, or similar industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing client relationships.Experience in rentals of machinery or equipment (advantageous).

 

Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of electric vehicles, yellow heavy-duty machinery and its applications in construction and mining and or other related industries.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop long-term customer relationships and manage multiple accounts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
